Mini Melo Pattern


 Hey! I've got a big one for you guys today

This one is a red melody! of course you can change the colour of the hood and all sorts but how cute is she?

The cutie will unfortunately take around 2 hours to make if you're slow like meπŸ˜”

 but she's so worth the results omg



Materials

  • White Yarn (for the body) THIS IS COLOUR 1
  • Red/Pink yarn (for the hood, ears & collar ) THIS IS COLOUR 2
  • Yellow/Blue Yarn (for the bow) THIS IS COLOUR 3
  • Oval safety eyes and nose (feel free to use felt too)
  • Polyester stuffing
  • A stitch Marker
  • A yarn needle
  • A crochet hook that matches the yarn size
  • Scissors

Abbreviations

  • Mr: Magic Ring
  • Sc: Single Crochet
  •  Dc: Double Crochet
  • Hdc: Half Double Crochet
  • SI st: slip stitch
  • St: Stitch
  • R: round
  • Inc: Increase (this is placing 2 sc in one st)
  • Dec: Decrease (this is crocheting 2 st together)
  • Cl: Cluster

Hood

Collar

USE COLOUR 2

  • Row 1: ch 18
  • Row 2: starting from the 2nd ch from your hook, Place two DOUBLE CROCHETS into every st (34)

Assembly:


Secure the eyes between rounds 8&9, 8 st apart

  • Sew the legs on eitherside of the body, from the bottom of R3 to the top of R6
  • Sew the arms on either side of the body, from the bottom of R7 to the top of R9
  • Place the hood onto the head, making sure the middle part comes down to R6 of the head. Use the tail of yarn from the hood to secure it to the head, following the pattern of the st to keep it neat
  • To create the ear bend, pick up a st between R7 & 8 on the ear that isn't stuffed and secure it to R7 or 8 of the hood
  • To secure the collar, sew the 1st row the chains) onto the last row of the body, making sure there is a 5 st gap in the middle of the body
