Here's the pattern you can use to make your very own strawberry plushie. This one takes a bit of time but its so worth it AND its beginner friendly!!!

Materials:
Red or Pink (yarn for the berry)
Green yarn (for the stem and leaves)
A hook that matches the size of yarn you're using
A stitch marker
Polyester stuffing
A darning needle
Scissors
Safety eyes
Abbreviations:
Mr- Magic Ring
Ch- Chain
Sc- Single Crochet
Inc- Increase (this is placing two sc into one stitch)
Dec- Decrease (this is crocheting two stitches together)
St- Stitch
Slst- Slip Stitch
Hdc- Half Double Crochet
Now for the pattern!
Berry:
R1- Mr with 6 sc
R2- (inc) x 6 (12)
R3- 12 sc
R4- (1sc, 1inc) x 6 (18)
R5- 18sc
R6- (2sc, 1inc) x 6 (24)
R7- 24sc
R8- (3sc, 1inc) x 6 (30)
R9- 30sc
R10- (4sc, 1inc) x 6 (36)
R11- 36sc
R12- (5sc, 1inc) x 6 (42)
R13- 42sc
R14- (6sc, 1inc) x 6 (48)
R15- 48sc
R16- (7sc, 1inc) x 6 (54)
R17-22- (6 rounds) 54sc
R23- (7sc, 1dec) x 6 (48)
R24- (6sc, 1dec) x 6 (42)
R25- (5sc, 1dec) x 6 (36)
R26- (4sc, 1dec) x 6 (30)

Sew the remaining st closed using only the front loops. Fasten off and tuck the tail inside
Stem and leaves:
R1- Mr with 8sc
R2-3 (2 rounds) 8sc
SI St into next st, ch 8
7
2nd ch from your hook-& Hdc down the chain, SI St back into
your st
Repeat this 7 more times around the circle and SI St off
Assembly:
- Sew the stem onto the last round of the strawberry
- to secure the leaves, sew the 2nd HDC on each leaf to the strawberry and pass darning needle through thhe berry to get to the next leaf, repeat all the way round
- feel free to use a small amount of yellow chenille yarn to sew on some seeds
Ta-da! Now you have a strawberry!
